Founded in 1964 in the city of Arequipa, Peru and began operations producing and supplying steel bars for engineering and construction. The high quality of their products quickly made them the main supplier of this industry segment. Today, CAA is the market leader in the steel business and a key company to the Peruvian economy, producing more than 1 million tons.

An additional system was required to complement the systems used in the Accounting Department. The need was for quick and detailed information. We decided to use the ABC methodology and sought appropriate solution to manage the cost model.

MyABCM was chosen because of its flexibility, the visibility of the Resources and Activities structures and its ability to analyze information, costs, traceability, built-in OLAP tool and its charts.

MyABCM provides information related to primary cost, compares the primary costs to the received costs from other departments and identifies opportunities for cost reduction. Monthly information is also extracted and analyzed as well as budget variance by cost centers.
