Beginning as the pioneer of the Brazilian PayTV market in 1991, Globosat is exclusively devoted to programming content and new channels that are in line with the interests of its consumer market. In 1996 it created the Sky system, which broadcasts directly by satellite to mini-parabolic antennas. The following year, the company became Canais Globosat (Globosat Channels) and consolidated its position as the PayTV market leader. The company’s growth has been exponential. Globosat went from 350 employees and 4 channels in 1994 to 36 channels and more than 1,600 employees in 2012 with 21 million customers, and today it is the largest PayTV programming company in Latin America and is the absolute market leader.

With such quick growth in structure, content and client base, the company operated with a Cost Management system that could not handle the technical and customer service demands that were required of it.

Globosat then decided to install the MyABCM solution, which offers Strategic Cost and Performance Management in an accurate and precise manner no matter how diversified the portfolio of products and customers.
